Video Format, eg .mov, avi | Avi is an acronym for Audio Video Interleave. It was introduced by micro soft in November 1992. Mov is a file compression format for Apple quick time. It is used for saving movies and other video like files. |
Streaming | This is user ability to access and watch video’s while its still downloading. An example of this would be CNN.com, YouTube.com and many more. |
File Compression | This is when a file is reduced in size to save come memory or transmission time. Compressed files are normally saved as part of a ZIP platform. Majority of the time it can also be decompressed into it original form. |
Aspect Ratio: 4:3, 16:9 | An aspect ratio calculates the width and height of an image. This can be expressed in numbers. E.g the standard television screen ratio is 4:3 as shown on the left . |
Frame Rates | This is when a number of film and videos frames are displayed at every one second. |
